WellGen’s mission is to discover and develop Medical Foods for inflammation-based diseases using natural products that are safe. Medical Foods, as defined by FDA are formulated to be consumed by patients under the supervision of a physician and intended for the specific dietary management of a disease or condition for which distinctive nutritional requirements, based on recognized scientific principles, are established by medical evaluation. WellGen’s multi-gene approach more closely resembles what happens in nature… we will build differentiated products based on natural products chemistry, nutrigenomics, and strong preclinical and clinical research.
